Our father Henry Ward Kennett Jr. passed away September 5, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Alice Faye Malone Kennett; parents, Henry and Ruth Doan Kennett; two sisters, Donnya and Judy Lee; and granddaughter, Kyla Lynn Kennett.
He leaves his children Lennie Gamble, Brian Kennett, Larry Kennett and Stephanie (Mike) Palmer. His grandchildren, Alison(Ryan) Jenkins, Ben (Daysha) Lowery, Griffin Gamble, Reuben (Julie) Kennett, Reece Kennett, Brandi Phillips, Ashley Kennett, Lake McCann, Chase McCann, and Evan Palmer. His great grandchildren, Walton, Wales, Abby, Samina, Sovereign, Chandler, Felix, Hayley, Cecillee, Christopher, Baylee, Omie, Junior, Izzy, Lawrence, Raelyn and Caydence. Sister, Yvonne Kennett Lewis (Walt).
Dad was a faithful and loyal Jehovah’s Witness for over seventy years. He was a long time member of the Iron Workers Local 290, furthering his education with a degree of Industrial Hygiene and HAZMAT Certified.
Our father was a hard worker, loved his family with all his heart, and knew he would join our mother in Paradise.
A graveside service for family will be Monday, September 7, 2020 on Labor Day a date appropriate for a hardworking man.
In Lieu of flower the family request donations to CASA of the shoals, 102 Jackson Ct. Sheffield, Alabama 35660 in honor of Henry Kennett.
