Henry Ray Brown, 78, of Toney, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Mr. Brown has lived in the Toney community for half his life where he was of the Christian faith. In his free time, Henry enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, fixing stuff around the house, and playing with his dog Chevy. He was an advocate for the NRA as well as the American Sportfishing Association.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Dianne Self Brown, his parents, James Franklin Brown and Stella Mae Brown, as well as five brothers and sisters.
He is survived by one son, John (Sonya) Brown, one daughter, Mickey (Derek) Taylor, one brother, Raymond (Joyce) Brown, one sister, Barbara Brown, four grandchildren: Wesley, Laken (Brandon), Tristan (Ailah), and Damian (Morgan), as well as five great grandchildren: Owen, Nova, HayRay, Ariana, and Austin.
There will be a Funeral Service held for Mr. Brown at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, September 6, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gatlin Cemetery. Bro. Ray Worley will officiate the service.
