Funeral services for Mr. Henry G. Scott, age 90, are scheduled for Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hare Cemetery. Mr. Scott passed away Monday in Lexington. He was born March 21, 1923 in Henderson County to the late Jay and Tessie Overman Scott. He was a WWII U. S. Navy Veteran and a retired Maintenance worker for Brown Shoe Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Jewell Lavon Williams Scott and a son, Freddy Dale Scott, one brother, and seven sisters. Survivors include his son, Mr. Larry (Pat) Scott of Lexington, four grandchildren, Kenny (Susan) Robinson, Brian (Melanie) Robinson, Larry Dale (Amy) Scott, and Paul Scott, and nine great grandchildren.
