Henry Douglas “Doug” Streetman, Jr., age 81 of Phil Campbell, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 08, 2023.

Doug was a timber broker, a jack of all trades, and could fix almost anything (and even have leftover parts).  If you knew him, you would know he was a stubborn man and when you were a friend of his, you were a friend for life.   He would do anything he could for anyone.  Doug was an avid outdoorsman, loving to deer hunt and fish, and was an avid Alabama fan, Roll Tide.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Remington Turner Smith; mother, Ada Oliver Streetman; father, Henry Douglas Streetman, Sr; and several brothers and sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his life partner of 25 years, Delores Vinson; daughters, Pamela Moseley Smith (Mark), Teresa Streetman Nelson; grandchildren, Kyle Douglas Nelson (Kristin), Mitchell Glen Smith (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Jean Smith, Sophia Hadden; siblings, Barbara Watts, Ruby Britton, Jack Streetman, Dwight Streetman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, with son-in-law, Mark Smith speaking at the service.  The burial will be at Old Line Cemetery in Hodges.

The pallbearers will be Johnny Baker, Mike Watts, Ronnie Miller, Scotty Streetman, Terry West, Darryl Streetman, Roger Vinson, and Chris Vinson.  The honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Britton, DeWayne Oliver, Doug Saint, and Glen Smith.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
