Henrietta Stricklin Isbell – Obituary

henerittaHenrietta Stricklin Isbell, 91, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Hardin County, Tennessee to the late Henry and Jenny Stricklin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Isbell, and daughter, Patricia Foster, as well as numerous brothers and sisters.
Henrietta was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was married 49 years and had five children, eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She dedicated her life to her husband, children, and family.
She loved to cook, work in her flower garden, and watch Billy Graham preaching. She was a Christian woman who loved her Lord and taught her children to. She was greatly loved by all who knew her.
Henrietta is survived by her sons, Larry Isbell (Gloria) and Richard Isbell (Gail), and daughters, Debra Bendall (Darol) and Rebecca Johnson.
Visitation will be today, 1-3 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Brother Guy Estave officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Don Isbell, Brian Bendall, Tim Isbell, Tyler Rikard, Ryan Rikard, and Noah Rikard.
The family would like to extend their great appreciation to Tennessee Valley Hospice nurses, Toni Campbell, Sheila Holway, and special mention to Amanda and Lori.
