Henderson Roscoe Bostick, Jr., age 73, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Cypress Cove Nursing Home. A celebration of life will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Morrison’s Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The family will receive friend from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Bostick was born in Littleville, Alabama on November 5, 1941 to Henderson Roscoe Bostick, Sr. and Ida Bell Brown Bostick. He lived in the Colbert Heights and Crooked Oak communities as well as Waukegan and Beach Park, Illinois. He was a past volunteer fireman for the Colbert Heights Fire Department.
Mr. Bostick is survived by his son, James Bostick of Russellville and daughter, Kimberly (Sandy) Seal of Haleyville; grandchildren, Will and Hannah Seal and Benjamin (Kesha) Bostick; great-granddaughter, Katherine Erma Bostick; first wife and friend, Margaret Bostick and many nieces and nephews; sister Lucille Bostick Honey of Tuscumbia; brothers Charles Bostick of Tuscumbia and Robert Bostick of Chickamauga, Georgia. Preceded by his parents; his second wife, Judy Gordon Bostick; sisters Flora Mae Bostick Stout, Opal Bostick and Ruby Bostick Lowery; brothers James Bostick, Franklin Bostick, John Bostick, Arlin Bostick, Garlin Bostick, Nolan Bostick, Meredith Bostick and Raymond Bostick; and special aunt and uncle, Robbie and Edgar Brown.
