Helen Sue Riddle, age 76 of Shelbyville, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Decherd on October 13, 1943 to the late Roland and Ollie Mae Walls. Before her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress at Castner-Knott and Dillards, as well as for her own customers. Helen was a member of Brownington Church of the Nazarene and attended First Nazarene Church in Tullahoma. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and taking care of the elderly. Most of all, she cherished the time with her family, especially the grandkids. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her siblings, Dale (Carolyn) Perry, Melvina (Jerry) Tankersly, Hazel (Charles) Reavis, Billy Joe Perry, and Glenn Perry; and brother-in-law, Bill Prince. She is survived by her loving children, Vickie (Tracy) Walls of Shelbyville, Donna (Tim) Tuck of Hillsboro, and Jeff (Tiffany) Riddle of Winchester; grandchildren, Miranda (Calvin) Barnes of Shelbyville, Nicole Rathbun (Brandon Polson) of Decherd, Jessica (Karl) Steuer of Hillsboro, Bridgette Tuck of Hillsboro, Jonathan Tuck of Hillsboro, Peyton Riddle of Winchester, and Bryson Riddle of Winchester; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Weston, Layla, Erica, Aiden, Emory, Stacy, Calvin, and Kyle; siblings, Jack (Bea) Perry of Decherd, Jessie (Barbara) Perry of Huntland, Danny (Shirley) Perry of Winchester, Peggy Prince of Huntland, and Gaynell (Wayne) Rhoton of Lynchburg; sister-in-law, Bobby Sue Perry of Vancleave, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. A. J. Alderman, Bro. Willie Brunosky, and Bro. Elbert Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Greg Perry, Ed Cashion, James Wiseman, Eddie Stone, Josh Perry, Tony Reavis, and Troy Reavis serving as pallbearers.
