Helen R. Harrison – Obituary

Helen R. Harrison, 85, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013. She was born February 19, 1928 in Itawamba County to the late Roy Reese and the late Winona Leech Reese. She Married the love of her life, Joe Harrison, on Oct. 20, 1945. Helen has held many hard working jobs over the years with the most passionate of all being the work she performed on the farm, Redlands Farm, with her husband. She was a beloved mother, Grandmother, and friend with a contagious smile and a heart of gold. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed Playing Canasta on the computer, going to church and church functions and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her Sons, Andy (Stephanie Byrd) Harrison of Fulton, and Midd (Marla) Harrison of Fulton, Grandson, Alex Harrison of Memphis, Granddaughter, Hillary Harrison, Granddaughter, Megan (Eddie) Benavidez of Tupelo, Granddaughter, Cassie (Sherman) Cooper of Saltillo, Great-granddaughter, Lily Jo Cooper, Step Grandson, Justin (Whitney) Crane of Mantachie, Step Great Granddaughter, Paisley Crane, Step Great Granddaughter, Rylee Crane, Sister, Rivers Smith of Amory, Sister, Myrtle Hankins of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Joe Harrison, Father, Roy Reese, Mother, Winona Reese, 4 Brothers, 1 Sister.

Pallbearers will be Rod Farrar, Dan Farrar, Flavis Plunkett, Robert Leech, Jeff Lann, Nathan Christian.
