Helen Marion Fluharty (nee Hamilton, previously Lichwarcsik), beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and great aunt passed away peacefully on 11/9/2024. Helen was born March 13, 1942 in Norton, Ohio. She was a graduate of Norton High School. Helen loved music (especially 50s rock and roll and “the TWIST”), quilting, painting, picnics on the beach, The Lone Ranger, kitties and puppies, jigsaw puzzles, riding ROLLER COASTERS, and spending time with friends and family (preferably at an amusement park).
She is preceded in death by her husband Harry Thomas Fluharty (2000), her son Dennis (Dennie) Fluharty (1964), brother Stephen Hamilton, sister Martha Miller (2024), Nephew Frankie Smith (1993) and both parents. She is survived by brothers Michael Hamilton (Rosemary) and Dennis Hamilton (Mary Jo), sisters Bonnie Smith (Frank), and Susie Long (Duane), son Mark Fluharty (Debby Kidd), daughter Tracy Aulfinger (Gary), grandchildren Jordan Aulfinger, Erin Aulfinger, Sean Fluharty, and Kyle Fluharty, nephews Paul Hamilton, Kevin Hamilton, and Kenneth Miller (Tammy), nieces Kimberly Gorrell (James), Lisa Johnston (Luke), and Jessica Hamilton, and great nieces Pearl, Dorothy (Dot), and Betty Johnston.
