Helen Marie Waits McBride, 71, of Toney, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021, at her home.
Mrs. McBride was born April 13, 1950, in Moulton, Alabama to James Anderson Waits and Lennie Elsie Lackey Waits. She enjoyed old country music and being with family.
Preceding her in death were her parents, seven brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include three sisters; Polly Nelson (JP) of Decatur, AL, Betty Allen of Decatur, AL and Doris “Tilly” Goree of Huntsville, AL, two sons; Eric D. Crow of Toney, AL, and Darin Martin of Jasper, AL, three granddaughters; Jayden Crow, Serenity Singer, Neveah Singer, and one grandson Bobby Lee Martin.
There will be a visitation held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home for Mrs. McBride Monday, July 19, 2021, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
A funeral service will be held on 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home Bro. Tony Turner will be officiating with Ardmore Chapel directing. Mrs. McBride will be laid to rest at Burningtree Memorial Gardens in Decatur, AL.
