A Celebration of Life Service for Helen Marie Clemmer, 73, is set for 11:00 am Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. David Paseur officiating and Sis. Wilma Kono doing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Rogers Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Wednesday 10:00 am to service time at the funeral home.

Helen died Friday, February 25, 2022 at the home of her daughter. She was born February 2, 1949 in Ripley, MS to the late Leroy and Hester Mathis. She graduated from Memphis Technical High School. Helen was married to Jackie Clemmer on June 30, 1983. She worked as a phlebotomist for Magnolia Regional Health Center for 17 years until retiring. She was also actively involved with The Red Hat Society and God’s Church until her health would not let her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jackie Clemmer; daughters, Amy Presley (Richard) and Donna Benjamin (Lee); grandchildren, Dylan Collins (Sarah), Paige Benjamin, Makayla Ginn, Shea Ginn, and R.J. Ginn; step-grandchildren, Kindall Presley, Casey Presley; great grandchild, Brinlee Collins; special sisters, Paulette Mills, Lurley Frost and Dorothy Plaxico; step-children, John Clemmer and Geneva Clemmer; and a host of other family and friends.
