Helen Marguerite Whitlock, age 88, born August 03, 1927 to Horace and Ethel Tidwell in Marlow, AL. She went to be with our Lord and Savior July 12, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Friday, July 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Larry Spears will be officiating.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Horace and Ethel Tidwell, five sisters, Nancy Horton, Patricia McGuire, Dorothy England, Mary Ruth Whitaker, Wynelle Middleton; two brothers, Glenn Tidwell and Jimmy Tidwell; husbands, Wesley Lowery and Charles Whitlock; daughters, Shelia Elizabeth Yingling and Carol Jeanette Hein; son, Ronald Eugene Lowery; son-in-law, Blair Hein; daughter-in-law, Sandra Jean Lowery; grandson, Christopher Lee Lowery.
She is survived by sister, Betty (Bill) Gardini; son, Johnny Lowery; daughter-in-law, Robbie Lowery; grandchildren, Ken Lowery, Scotty (Melony) Steadman, Tony Lowery, Shawn (Mary Ann) Lowery, Pam (Tim) Bunt, and Tyra Brown, Adam (Angie) Lowery, Carrie Smith, Angie Chandler, Nathan (Sarah) Brown, Eddie Hein, Brian (Alicia) Lowery, Tonya Lowery; 29 great grandchildren; 10 great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
