Helen Louise Trail Christopher passed from this life to her glorious eternal home Sunday, August 27, surrounded by her family. Helen was born December 22, 1931, to Lylburn and Edna Ann Trail in Manchester TN.
She married the love of her life, James Allen Christopher, on May 25, 1951. Their story is a story of true, abiding love for 71 years.
She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially playing games. She and James Allen enjoyed traveling, gardening, dancing, and serving others with a smile.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Allen Christopher.
Mrs. Christpoher is survived by her son, Skip Christopher and wife Kiela; daughter Jan Christopher Holt and husband Mike; grandsons Jason Christopher (Jennifer), Richard Vickers (Elizabeth) and Michael Holt; granddaughters Callie Deweese (David), Amanda Hughes (Bubba); and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, at Limestone Chapel, from 12:00 -2:00pm followed by funeral service at 2:00pm, with Dusty McLemore officiating. Burial will be at Athens City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Mrs. Christopher’s memory to Hospice of North Alabama or to Meals on Wheels.
