Helen Lorene Anglin Webb, age 76, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving children.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, Oct 9th2022 at Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Rick Points and Pastor Mike Dodrill officiating. A visitation will be held from 3:00PM to 4:00PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 29, 1946 to the late Richard Anglin and the late Floy Christine Rosson Anglin from Nunnelly, Tennessee, Helen was actually born in the King’s Daughters’ Hospital. She was raised in a little town called Nunnelly. She married Billy Clyde Webb on November 12th, 1966.
Helen was a very hard worker throughout her life ranging from factory work to working in a restaurant to a day care. She was employed at Maury Regional Hospital from April 1997 until her retirement in May 2013. Helen always put her family first; she loved everyone. She loved the outdoors, her flowers, her children, her grandchild and her great grandson, and her fur babies, Blackjack, Sassy Mae and Chewy. Helen very much enjoyed shopping at Goodwill and Walmart and eating at Captain D’s. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Dana Webb (James Rizzardi), son, Jason Webb, grandson, Justin Bates (Shelby Knapp) and precious great-grandson, Bentley Bates, who she loved more than anything. Helen also leaves behind several nieces and nephews that she loved.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Clyde Webb, sisters, Darlene Jack. Judy Daniel, and Elizabeth Anglin and brother, Horace Anglin.
The family would like to express their great appreciation to Avalon Hospice for taking such great care of their mother. A special thank you to Janice Mills, who has been there for their mother and being a friend. Dana would like to express a very special thanks to her racing family. Jason would like to thank all his friends.
Memorials may be made to Centers of Dementia, or any charity of your choice.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff, caregivers, nurses, nurse techs from Avalon Hospice; Tim Brashears, Heather Hardiman, Abby Couch, Chelsea Craig, Maggie Purky (Mom’s volunteer), Pastor Mike Dodrill, Pam Connelly, Bethany Albright, and Lori Wescott, along with Melissa White and her daughter, Bailey Bone. She loved all of you with all her heart.
