Helen Joy Clem, 89, of Elkmont, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Lance and Lucy (Biggerstaff) Pittman.
Mrs. Clem lived in the North Alabama area her entire life and was a member of the Hollands Gin Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wade Clem, Sr.; parents; brothers Robert Pittman, Thomas Pittman, Eddie Pittman, Jack Pittman, June Pittman, and sister Francis Wales.
She is survived by her son Wade (Dana) Clem; daughter Melody (Bud) Simmons; grandchildren Heather (Jordan) Lovell, Matthew (Catie) Clem, Franklin (Bekah) Simmons, Davis Simmons, and Laura (Nick) Simmons; great-grandchildren, Aidan Lovell, and Rylee Lovell.
There will be a visitation for Mrs. Clem at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Bro. Kasey Harbin and Bro. Jordan Lovell officiating.
In honor of Mrs. Helen, the family would like everyone to know that donations can be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
