Helen Josie Powers, 75, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, at her home.
Ms. Powers is preceded in death by her parents, George Raleigh Hodges Sr. and Mary Magdaline Ferrell Hodges, as well as 1 sister, 3 brothers, 1 daughter, and 1 grandchild.
She is survived by her son, Tracy Hartmann, two daughters, Charlott (Wade) Aldridge and Pam Hartmann, two sisters, Mildred Bailes and Patricia (Philip) Hartmann, as well as 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Ms. Powers lived in the Ardmore area for the majority of her life. As a member of the Chirstian faith, she enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with her family whom she loved so much.
The family has made plans to have a private service at a later date.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
