Helen Harbin, 89, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Helen was born in Russellville, AL and moved to the Huntsville area at age 14. She leaves behind many friends and family who will miss her wit, phone calls and those helpful gardening tips.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Nute A. Harbin. She is survived by her five children, Margie Howe (Norman), Linda Williams (Jim), Jeanene Gwathney (Jimmy), Alfred Harbin (Kathy) and Steve Harbin (Cynthia); ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Jones; and sisters, Marie Foy and Emma Jean Burlingame.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 Saturday at Madison City Cemetery.
