Helen Frances Hammond Wallace, age 94, of Florence, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 20 from noon until 2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Kenny Barfield officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lester Wallace; sons, William L. “Bill” Wallace Jr. and Jerry Lee Wallace; and daughter-in-law, Nancy Fanning Wallace.
Survivors are her son, Jimmie Wallace (Margie); brothers, Paul Hammond and Neal Hammond; sisters, Elsie Green and Laura Jean Thigpen; daughter-in-law, Geneva Wallace; grandchildren, Trent Wallace, Traci Willis, Lisa Ryan, Rebekah Ritchey, Barry Wallace, Jerry Hallman and Sheila Nash; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
