Helen Delia Tibbals, 93, of Muscle Shoals, passed away November 16, 2012. Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with funeral services to begin at 2:00 P.M.in the chapel. Burial to follow at Colbert Memorial Garden. Dr. Tom Whatley officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Tibbals Sr., sons, Charles Tibbals Jr and Larry Tibbals. Brothers, Charlie Ray Edwards and Robert Edwards and sisters, Roberta Huff, Lucille Hart and Glenda Fields.
Survivors include son, Gary E. Tibbals (Tammy)
Daughter, Charlene Gail Tibbals
Sister, Catherine Cox
Brothers, Billy Edwards (Diane), James Edwards (Joyce) and Wayne Edwards
Eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Wally Blanton, Kelly Tibbals, Tim Tibbals, Henry Kennedy, Stan Clement, Jack Yarber and Joey Pace. Honorary bearers are, Will Blanton, Josh Blanton, Casey Tibbals and Christopher Tibbals.
Mrs. Tibbals was a graduate of Springhill High School, a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church and Ruth Sunday School Class.
