Helen Dean Vickers, 80, Trinity, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Linda Vickers officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cherokee.
Helen was a member of Cornerstone Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemender and Benjamin Vickers; son, Gregory Hamm; daughter, Debra Crain; granddaughter, Karen Martin; three brothers, and four sisters.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Libby Dugger (Ronnie) and Nancy Cottrill (Jim); brother, John H. Vickers (Linda); sisters, Lilly King (Percy) and Betty Boatwright (Jim); grandchildren, Mark, Melissa, Jason (Heather), Ben (Jamie), Daryl, Caleb (Igor), Bridgett (Matt), Gregory (Ashlee), and Brooklyn; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Helen’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
