Heidi Jean Horton, born on September 30, 1958, passed away on September 10, 2023, in Florence, Alabama. She had a unique upbringing as a military brat, experiencing the challenges and adventures that come with it. Throughout her life, Heidi had a deep passion for horseback riding, poetry, and her faith in God.
Heidi was a loving mother to her ten children: Lydia, Preston, Jamie, Owen Jr, Sonja, Angel, Mark, Paul, Sean and Chelsey. She was also a doting grandmother to thirteen grandchildren. She dedicated herself to providing love, support, and guidance when she could to her family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to her love for her family, Heidi had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, Boomer and Moses. They brought her immeasurable joy and companionship throughout their time together. Heidi’s bond with her furry friends was a testament to her gentle and nurturing nature.
Above all, Heidi had a deep love for God, and her faith guided her throughout her journey. She found solace and strength in her relationship with Him, and it was evident in her kindness, grace, and compassion towards others.
