It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Mrs. Heather Hutchens Call age 45. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and close friends on Monday, December 18, 2023.
To Know Her was to Love Her
Born in Guntersville, AL to Bobby Joe Hutchens and Brenda Maples Edwards, they knew instantly that she would be the light of their lives as well as the lives of others.
After graduating from New Hope High School in 1996 she began working at Parker Hannifin IPD in sales/expediting at the age of 18. During her time at Parker Hannifin Heather would go on to receive her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2008.
Heather met the love of her life Mr. Matt Call in 2006. She and Matt married in 2011 and shortly after in 2012 they would announce the birth of their son Joseph James Call. Heather found her true passion in Family and being a mother. She became a stay-at-home mom, devoting herself to being the best mother to Joseph, she would always say “He is the most beautiful thing she ever seen”. Once Joseph started school, Heather wanted to pursue a career that she could be passionate about and give her the flexibility to continue to focus on her family. In 2017 she began her successful career as your local “Hometown Realtor”. She would touch many lives with her warm personality and loving spirit. Heather’s favorite pastime was being at home with Matt, Joseph and her two wiener dogs Cho Cho and Bella.
She is preceded in death by Grandparents, Cleve and Gurtha Hutchens and Milton Eugene and Norma Jean Maples and Uncles, Milton Eugene Maples Jr., J.C. Hutchens and J.D. Hutchens.
She is survived by husband, Matt Call; son, Joseph Call; Father, Bobby Joe Hutchens; Mother, Brenda Maples Edwards (Dwight Edwards); Sister, Anita Hutchens Meeker; Brothers, Rickey Hutchens and Randy Hutchens.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Friday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Michael Carpenter officiating.
Interment will be in Moon Cemetery.
