Hazel Williams – Obituary

Hazel Williams, 93, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Southern Magnolia in Golden. She was born in Tishomingo County to Charlie Wilson and Aora Epps Armstrong. She was a member Second Street Church of Christ and owned a flower shop for many years.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 18, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont with John Williams, Kevin Williams and James Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are her husband of 77 years-Robert Williams of Belmont; two sons-Wallace Williams (Glenda) and John Williams (Betty) all of Dennis; six grandchildren-Keith Williams, Bret Williams, Cindy Bullock, Alan Williams, Jennifer Guyton and Kevin Williams; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son-James Williams; one brother-Bill Armstrong and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Holcomb, Joey Moore, Ronnie Bullock, Jamie Guyton, Jerry Dees and J.P. Wilemon Jr.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday, November 17, at Deaton Funeral Home and until service time on Sunday.
