Mrs. Hazel Virginia Clanton, age 80, of Elm Street, Boaz, Alabama died on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at her residence.
Service will be held at on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Noon in the Chapel of McRae Funeral Home. Bro. Bill Lackey and Bro. Rodney Frix will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Walls Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clanton was born in Alabama on March 30, 1937 to Olen & Eva Bearden Duffey. She was a retired poultry plant worker. Mrs. Clanton is survived by her Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Eddie Clanton of Boaz, Grady & Linda Gail Clanton of Boaz and Carlton & Dana Clanton of Gadsden, Daughters & Son-in-Law: June & Roger Vaughn and Patty & Tommy Henderson all Albertville, Rebecca & Terry Hubbard and Vickie Baugh all of Boaz, 17 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: Erskin & Rita Duffey and Ernest Ray & Carolyn Duffey all of Albertville. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Ray Clanton, Daughter: Wanda Hine and Son: Tony Max Clanton
Pallbearers will be Will Edmonds, Mark Clanton, Billy Underwood, DeWayne Murray, T. J. Henderson, Kaleb Breedlove, Kyle Clanton and Devin Hicks.
