Hazel Myhan, age 86 passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at NHC in Pulaski, Tennessee.
Hazel was born on March 9, 1936 to the late Rufus Hunt and Marjorie Hunt in Holly Creek, Tennessee.

Hazel was a godly woman. She embraced her beliefs in every way possible. She would sit on her front porch and read the bible to the neighborhood kids when they would get off the bus. It was the highlight of her day and for many of the children, she would read to. She was also a big fan of history. She would volunteer at the Old County Jail Museum and learn more and more as she did. She was also a skilled writer and would write poems, books, and even for the local newspaper.

Hazel was an amazing woman who loved her family and God. She will be deeply missed by all.

Hazel has been reunited in heaven with her parents; daughter: Nancy Gray; siblings: Lavergne, Junior, and Faye; and her first husband: Welchia “Slim” Smith.

Those left behind to cherish the memories Hazel left behind are her husband: William Myhan; daughters Christine Dial and Rebecca Hayes; several grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; and sisters: Joyce, Edith, Katherine, Elizabeth, Connie, and Chappel.

The family will gather and receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.
