Ms. Hazel Hubbard, age 96, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, in Jackson. She was born September 29, 1928 in Henderson County to the late Arthur and Myrtle Waddle Ricketts. She was retired from Ram Golf in Illinois, was a member of First Pentecostal Church, and volunteered at Hope Ministries. Ms. Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Obie Hubbard, Jr.; one son, Ricky Hubbard; her sister, Dorothy Seaton; and two grandchildren, Kevin Hubbard and Kimberly Anthony. Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda Sikes and Jan Irigoyen (Mario); her son, Jeff Hubbard; her brothers, Billy Ricketts; four grandchildren, Steve Sikes, Brian Sikes, Rick Hubbard, Jr., and Morgan Hubbard; four great grandchildren, Logan, Grayson, Eli, and Isabell; and one great-great grandchild, Kayleigh.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Browns Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 2 – 6 PM.
