Mrs. Hutchison was born on July 22, 1941, to the late James (Jack) Franklin Shepard and Flossie Mitchell Shepard. She was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee. She graduated from Jo Byrns High School in 1959 and went into public work. First, with a law firm in Clarksville and then on to Royal Insurance Company where she retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Stroudsville Church of Christ where she was the secretary for 15 years. She fell in love with James (Jimmy) Philip Hutchison in the 8th grade and married him in June of 1963. She loved him with all of her heart!! They had 2 children, Jim Hutchison (Michelle) and Kendra Hutchison; 6 grandchildren, Hillary Morris, Ryan (Miranda) Morris, Nicholas (Stephanie) Hutchison, Michaela (Rudy Casey) Hutchison, Brianna (Justin) Krebs, and Caitlin Hutchison; and 5 great-grandchildren, Lyla Morris, Emmy Morris, Amelia Casey, Lucius Casey, Luke Krebs, and one on the way, Baby Brooklyn Krebs. Her family meant everything to her. She loved to read sitting outside and talking about old times. History was her passion and she enjoyed visiting old plantation homes and learning the history of the people who lived there. She was also a pet lover. Her dogs, Riley & Oakley, were so special to her, and she treated them as if they were human…lol.
