Hazel Francis Longbrake of Huntsville, AL passed away March 27, 2019 at Madison Manor. Hazel was born on June 16, 1914 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Longbrake. Hazel is survived by her daughter, Janet Priest of Huntsville, AL and her son, Albert Longbrake of Clarksville, TN. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Hazel was a homemaker and during WWII, she worked on an assembly line making P-47 Thunderbolts. Hazel was an dedicated Christian and worked for years as a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her love, humor and wisdom was invaluable to all who knew her.
You may visit with the family, March 30, 2019 at Valhalla Funeral Home, 2:00-3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be the same day at 3:00 PM. Rev. Paul Andrus will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
