Hazel Evelyn Morrow  Burress Funeral services for Hazel Evelyn Morrow Burress, 83, of Corinth are set for Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2pm at Pinecrest Baptist Church with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST and Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 12pm-2pm at Pinecrest Baptist Church. Bro. Jeff Haney will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Waylon Hardin, Rylee Brooks, Davis Hardin, Reece Hardin, Chris Burress and Eric Burress. Born January 15, 1938 in Alabama, Hazel passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her home in Corinth. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Box Chapel United Methodist Church. Hazel is survived by her sons, John Martin “Keido” Brooks and Shane Brooks (Jenny); daughters, Nancy Brooks and Jaime Hardin (Waylon); a special daughter, Sarah Lindsey; grandchildren, Chasity Henderson, Kylee Brooks, Rylee Brooks, Reece Hardin, Davis Hardin and Kennedy Hardin; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Clark (John), Patti Parker and Becky Lindsey; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Burress; son, Scott Burress; parents, Lawrence and Estell Blakney Morrow; brothers, Hershell Morrow, Bobby Morrow and Johnny Morrow and sisters, Joann Butler and Jill Haney. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Pinecrest Weekend Snack Pack at 313 PineCrest Road, Corinth, MS 38834.
