Hazel Delores McNutt age 79 of Athens, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at Athens Rehab and Senior Care. Mrs. McNutt was born August 31, 1936 in Limestone County, AL to Jerry Clay Compton and Maybelle Vinson Compton.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 25, 2016 11:00 a.m., at Sardis Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Tim Keenum officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jerry C. and Maybelle Compton; her husband, Ronald McNutt; one son, Russell McNutt.
Survived by two sisters, Frances Smith of Athens and Dean Cowsert of Pontiac, MI; several nieces and nephews.
