Hayden Jackson “Jack” Laster, 81 of Muscle Shoals, died Saturday, April 02, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, April 4, 2016 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Woodward Avenue Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Tom Whatley officiating.
Jack was a native of Russellville, a retired salesman with Nafco Flooring, and a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett Jackson and Orman Scruggs Laster.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Peggy Hovater Laster; son, Andy Laster; daughter, Shane Conn and husband, John; daughter-in-law, Leasha Kirby Laster; brother, Joe Laster and wife, Lou; grandchildren, Angie Conn Gunn, Karen Conn King, Kelly Laster, Emily Laster; great granddaughter, Arden King and another on the way.
Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Whitehead, Dr. Brad McAnnalley, Cory King, Brendan Gunn, Lyn Laster, Everett Laster, David Starkey, James Tassin, Hiram Garner and Brian Barton.
The family expresses special thanks to Helen Keller ICU and PCU, Keller Home Health and JW Sommer staffs.
