Harvey Rex McCrary, 77, passed away Friday, Oct 27th, 2023. Rex was born on March 30, 1946 in Huntsville, AL to Samuel and Ilah McCrary.
He worked for Eastern Airlines for over 30yrs. He loved Alabama football, music from the 60’s (especially Bob Dylan), hanging out with his friends, swapping stories, playing cards and reminding people that he played High School football. He will be remembered as a good man with a kind soul, loved by all who knew him.
Rex is survived by his two daughters, Heather (McCrary) Jones and Tiffany McCrary.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Nov 9th 6pm at Lone Goose Saloon located in Campus 805. which used to be Butler High where Rex graduated in 1966.
