Harvey Dillard Kinard, 72, of Phil Campbell, Alabama passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Arabella Nursing Home in Russellville, Alabama.
Dillard was born August 6, 1951 to Harvey and Terah Kinard in Spruce Pine, Alabama. He was employed with Spruce Pine Sand & Gravel for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kinard; daughter, Mary Gipson (Gary); sisters Linda Sikes (Leon), Frances May, Brenda Raper, Lisa McLemore (Ricky), Sandra Jobe (Scott); brother, Phillip Kinard (Rhonda). Several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Oscar Kinard; mother, Terah Ocine Hall Kinard; brother, Danny Kinard; grandchild, Christopher Ray.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. The funeral will follow at 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Spruce Pine Cemetery located in Spruce Pine, Alabama. Bro. James McCullar will be officiating the service.
Pallbearers will be Mike Willis, Ronald Odom, Charlie Thompson, Jr., Nick Howard, Cody Kinard, Scott Franklin, Phil Bates, Darren Steward, Daniel Gilliland.
