Hartselle Man Indicted For Murder in November 2021 Slaying

HARTSELLE-The Hartselle Police Department issued a statement concerning the indictment of a Hartselle man who has been bound over on charges Murder.

This indictment is connected to the stabbing death of Charles Cameron Hill, 44.  Hill died from stab wounds to the abdomen.

 

On February 15, 2023, Rathel Amos Lindley, age 43, of Hartselle was arrested for Murder. His bond was set at $250,000.00.

The arrest is the result of further investigation into Rathel’s involvement in the murder of Charles Cameron Hill which occurred on November 17, 2021. His brother, Billy Joe Lindley, was arrested at that time.

Evidence was presented to the Grand Jury and Rathel was indicted and arrested shortly after the warrant was issued.
