Brandon Jay Goodwin
HARTSELLE-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office released a statement on the arrest of a suspect on charges of Rape 2nd:
“The Morgan County Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit arrested Brandon Jay Goodwin, 20 years old, of Hartselle, for Rape in the Second Degree.
SVU investigators received a complaint that Goodwin had unlawful sexual intercourse with a child less than 16 years old. After a thorough investigation and interviewing multiple witnesses, investigators obtained a warrant for Goodwin’s arrest.
Goodwin turned himself into the Morgan County Jail Friday, July 1st, 2016. Goodwin’s bond was set at $2,500.00.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.”
