Harry Thomas Speck – Obituary

Harry Thomas Speck, 83, died Sunday, February 02, 2014, at the North MS Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born June 16, 1930 in Sherman to Leonard and Minnie Lou Speck. He was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He was a route salesman for Wonder Bread for 30 years and a member of Sherman Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening and yard work.

Services were 2 PM Tuesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Clay Foster, Jr. officiating. Burial was in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include his daughter, Shelia Strunk (Lindell) of Sherman; one grandson, Joshua Strunk (Tina) of Plantersville; one sister-in-law, Georgia Speck of Sherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mattie Speck who died October 12, 2014; 10 brothers and sisters.
