  Harry S. RobertsHarry S. Roberts, 90, Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Ricky Berger and James Senn officiating. Interment will be in Piney Grove Cemetery, Tuscumbia.

Harry was a native of Vanleer, Tennessee and a longtime resident of Tuscumbia. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving as a morse code interceptor during the Korean War. He was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ and enjoyed being part of the New Bethel VFD. Harry was a self-employed CPA, working with multiple companies. He enjoyed shooting pool, and loved playing bass and steel guitar at the Little Ryman. Harry was “Shug” to his lifelong partner and wife, Jackie Roberts, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him were his father, Jackson Roberts; mother, Mable Roberts; brother, Joe Roberts; and sister, Robbie Smith.

Harry is survived by sister, Judy Hellrung; special grandchildren, Cody, Cloe, and Michael Hovater; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Family members will serve as pallbearers. Members of the New Bethel VFD will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wood Avenue Church of Christ.
