Harry Phillip Maddux, age 75 of the Fellowship Community in Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023. A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late John Berdyne and Mary Frances Graves Maddux. Mr. Maddux was also preceded in death by sisters, Betty Ann Maddux, and Frances Faye Maddux Davis.
Mr. Maddux is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wanda McDowell Maddux; sons, Michael Maddux and his wife Jennifer, and Adam Maddux and his wife Genny all of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Jackson, Preston, Cooper, and Preslee Maddux all of Mt. Juliet, TN; brother, George Maddux and his wife Marty of Mt. Juliet, TN, and a sister, Johnnie Kaye Maddux of Mt. Juliet, TN
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church in the Fellowship Community. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday following the visitation at the church with Pastor Tip Mosley officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Jackson Maddux, Preston Maddux, Cooper Maddux Jim McDowell, John Vincion and Matthew Twomey serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Jackson, Wayne Jones, Wayne Nowlin, Doug Allen, and Preslee Maddux.
Mr. Maddux was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, a US Army veteran serving in the 101st Airborne, and retired from the United States Postal Service.
