Mr. Harry Lee Bloodworth, age 61 of Athens, AL passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at his home. Mr. Bloodworth was born on May 31, 1956 in Rogersville, AL to Grover Lee Bloodworth and Martha Aline Bloodworth Cochrum.
He was preceded in death by his parents Grover Lee Bloodworth and Martha Aline Bloodworth Cochrum; brothers, Owen Bloodworth and Lawrence Bloodworth and sister, Reba Thomas Ferrell.
Mr. Bloodworth is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gloria Bloodworth; sons, Dale Bloodworth and wife, Sunday of Athens, AL and Will Bloodworth and wife, Deanna of Athens, Al; granddaughters, Bethany Williams of Birmingham ,AL, Hannah Williams, Scarlett Bloodworth, Olivia Bloodworth and Kinsley Bloodworth all of Athens, AL.
Mr. Bloodworth retired from ConAgra. He loved to fish and Alabama football. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Bloodworth will be 2:00PM Monday, October 2, 2017 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Ronnie Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00PM on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Burial will take place in Poplar Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Will Bloodworth, Brandon Wallace, Jamie Overton, Ricky Ellenburg and Wade Evans.
