Harry K. Boswell, age 94 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his daughter’s residence in Pleasantview, Tennessee. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on August 24, 1930, to the late Charlie and Annie Ethel (Baker) Boswell. Until his retirement, he worked as a repairman and electrician in the community. He also worked at the Winchester Church of Christ. An avid outdoorsman, Harry enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, hiking, and collecting arrowheads. He also enjoyed playing his harmonica and guitar, as well as learning various languages. But most of all, Harry cherished the time spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren. A very inquisitive, hardworking man, he will be remembered for his caring and kind heart. Harry was a member of Winchester Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Willeva Throneberry, Clara Odell Boswell, and Charles Kurfees Boswell. Harry is survived by his loving wife of sixty-six years, Mae (Champion) Boswell; children, Tammie (Boswell) Browning, and Todd Boswell; grandchildren, Bethany Howell, Brandon Browning, Alasdair Boswell, Cameron Boswell, Ian Boswell, Sophie Boswell, Caitlin Boswell, and Gavin Boswell; and great-grandchildren, Timothy Howell, Mollie Howell, and Alia Mae Boswell. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Winchester Church of Christ.
