Harris Fiveash Profile Photo Harris Ledron Fiveash, 79, of Walnut, MS, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 30, 2024. He was born on June 16, 1945 to Rufus and Beatrice Wilbanks Fiveash in Walnut, MS and graduated from Kossuth High School in 1964. A Christian man and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, he was a beloved, hard-working man of the community, known for his wittiness and simplicity of life, and will be missed by all who knew him. Harris worked at Wurlitzer while also farming. He then went on to retire from Dover Elevator after 22 years of service. His love for woodworking and sawmilling continued until 2021. Harris was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan Dillingham Fiveash; three sons, Jason (Erin), Jeff (Tiffany), and Jody (Kristie); a sister, Glenda Green (Keith); his brothers, Glen (Sandra) and Kerry (Elaine); a brother-in-law, Jimmy Dillinger (Teresa); a sister-in-law, Margaret Fiveash; a brother-in-law, John Dillingham (Karen); and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Smith; his 13 grandchildren, Parker (Madison), McKenzie, Anna Grace, Carleigh, Emma, Preston, Tye, Karsyn, Riley, Presley, Averly, Harper, and Caden; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Roy and Vadine Dillingham; his sister, Mattie Fiveash Parker (Alton Earl); his brother, James Cecil Fiveash; his sister, Deborah Fiveash Dillinger; a sister-in-law, Gwen Dillingham; a brother-in-law, James Sonny Smith; and a niece and nephew, Brandie and Brandon Dillinger. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 5-8 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church and 12-2 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 with services to follow at 2 PM. Bro. Joe Spencer and Bro Floyd Lamb will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers include Alan Parker, Dewayne Parker, Tim Smith, Nick Fiveash, Josh Dillingham, and John Robert Dillingham. His 13 grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
