Funeral service for Harriet J. Sharrott Griffin, 73, of Hartselle will be Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce Martin and Pastor Roger Martin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Griffin, who died Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at her residence, was born January 3, 1942, in Morgan County to Norman Corbitt Sharrott and Clara Lucille Norris Sharrott. She was retired from Hartselle Medical Center where she was Director of Medical Records. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wayne Griffin; her parents; brother, Kenneth Sharrott; and two sisters, Virginia Segars and Dorothy Wright.
Survivors include four daughters, Melissa Harris, Marlina Martin (Bruce), Marie Griffith (John) and Marty Hall (Howell); one brother, Frank Sharrott; three sisters, Ozelle McAbee, Amanda Sandlin and Gail Puckett; five grandsons, five grand- daughters and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Seth Jacks, Wil Hall, Ty Griffith, Winston Hall, Zach Martin and Alex Ferryman.
