Harriet Helen Schroder Owens, 73, went to be with the Lord, Monday, May 13, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo . She was born July 25, 1939 in Memphis, TN to the late Harry S and Lillian Hamberlin Schroder. She was a 1957 Graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School. She worked beside her husband as manager of McDonald’s in Tupelo from 1972-1982. Upon her death, she was a Bus Monitor at Fulton Head start. She loved life, spending time with her grandchildren, and running with the Red Hatters. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

She is survived by 4 Daughters, Teresa Owens of St. Louis, MO, Cindy (Joe) Milam , Deanna (Richard) Houston ,Missy (Marty) Johnson all of Fulton, MS,5 Grandsons, Jason (Brittany) Milam, Chris (Nikki) Milam, Russ Houston, Klay Houston, Kole Houston, all of Fulton, 3 Granddaughters, Megan Johnson , Lauren Johnson , Casey (Scotty) Nichols all of Fulton, MS, 3 Great Granddaughters, Mallie Beth Milam, Jaelynn Milam, Brooklyn Swindle all of Fulton, MS, 2 Great Grandsons, Ian Nichols and Ryder Houston both of Fulton, MS, Sister, Lillian Schroder (Lyndon) Boren of Iuka, MS, Special Niece, Scarlett McFerrin Beene.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 49 years Thomas “Eddie” Edward Owens, her parents, Sister, Eloise Back.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jason Milam, Chris Milam, Russ Houston, Klay Houston, Kole Houston.
