Funeral services for Mr. Harold Wade, age 72, are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Wade passed away on Thursday in Lexington. He was born September 15, 1949 in Henderson County. He was a school bus driver and enjoyed farming and working with cattle. He loved camping and riding motorcycles. Mr. Wade is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Joyce Wade; two sons, Mickel Gilbert “Bucky” Wade and Dennis Matthew Wade; his brother, Jimmy Austin (Judy); his sister, Faye Cox; one grandson, Adam Wade (Alyssa); and a great grandson, Roczen Wade. He was preceded in death by his mother, Iona Wade and two brothers, Freddie Wade and Wylie Austin. The family will receive friends on Saturday 4-9 PM and on Sunday 9 AM – 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
