Harold W. Burns, 64, Florence, was born December 31, 1957, and passed away December 24, 2022 at his residence. He was a truck driver for Books-a-Million and a member of the church of Christ at Macedonia, 2931 County Road 158, Florence, Al. 35633.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at the church of Christ at Macedonia, Florence, and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday morning before the service. The funeral service will be Friday, December 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the church building. Burial will be in Austin Cemetery. Officiating will be James Senn and Wayne Wood.
Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Burns; and son, Brian Will Burns.
He is survived by his special friend, Wanda Copeland; father, Waford Burns; son, Benji “Rabbit” Burns; daughter, Heather Burns (Mark Goodman); sister, Karla Burns; grandchildren, Keeven Burns, Chevy Brax Vickery, and Bryant Burns; and little dachshund brother, JR (pet).
Pallbearers will be Ray Guyton, Brett Grimes, Gary Burns, Sr., Gary (B.J.) Burns, Jr., Jason Minton, Joey Liles, Harold Cromwell, and Cecil Myrick, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Keeven Burns and Brax Vickery.
