Mr. Harold Scott, age 72, passed away early Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in Jackson. He was born February 16, 1953 in Lexington to the late James Henry and Rosa Martha Jones Scott. He was employed by TVA and a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard. Mr. Scott enjoyed golfing and boating, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Barbara King Scott; three sons, Justin Harold Scott, Derek King Scott, and Brandon Lee Scott (Brandy); his brother, James Neal Scott (Phyllis); half-brother, Dean Tyler; and two grandchildren, Marley Michelle Scott and Aspen Elizabeth Scott. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Faye Clifford and Doris Gean Odell.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2025 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, 4-8 PM and on Saturday, 10 AM – 1 PM.
