Harold Nye Grider of Bridgeport, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Signature Health Care in South Pittsburg, TN, he was 89 years old. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Mt Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport with Barry Grider officiating beginning at 11:00AM.
Mr. Grider is survived by his children Janet (Jim) Thomas, Doyle Grider, Debbie (Sam) Durham; brother, Charles (Jean) Grider; daughter-in-law, Mary Miles Grider; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Harold was a member and Elder of the South Pittsburg Church of Christ and served in the Army of the United States. He was a farmer by trade and also a longtime mail carrier for the USPS.
Preceded in death by: Wife, Jewell Smith Grider; Parents, Berry and Callie Hunter Grider; Son, Marion Grider; Siblings, Argel Grider, Red Grider, Arcia Faye Ridley, and Ethel Thomas.
