Harold Neal Buchanan, 62 of Arab passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. Harold was born May 12, 1960 the son of Ernest Eugene Buchanan and Fay Smith Buchanan. He spent his career working in construction, spending time in Tennessee, Alabama and Florida remodeling hotels and other types of businesses. He was a private guy that enjoyed his time on the road, but always knew the road back home. He was a fighter in many ways, but the most tragic event in his life was the storm of April 2011, he was a survivor that never gave up on life. He was diagnosed with stage four bone cancer in the fall of 2020 and fought that battle hard until the end.
Harold is survived by his companion: Sheila; father: Gene; sister: Sandra and brothers: Joe, James and Daryl.
His wishes where for cremation with no formal service, Gober Funeral Chapel assisted with these arrangements.
