Harold  Monroe Steele Harold Monroe Steele, age 65 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. He was born in Franklin County, Tennessee on October 31, 1955 to the late Clennon Alton Steele and Mary Faye (Stephens) Steele Judge. Before his retirement, Harold worked at Amana as a machinist, and he helped out at Steele’s Salvage Yard. He also had been the pastor at Keith Spring Mountain Church of Jesus for over fifteen years. Harold enjoyed fishing, playing gospel music (he could play any instrument), and gensing digging. But most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren. A true selfless servant, Harold always put others before himself. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ben Alton Steele, Hershel Gene Judge, and William Adrain Steele. Harold is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-two years, Vanessa Frame Steele of Winchester; sons, Clennon (Annie) Steele of Winchester, and Caleb (Caitlin) Steele of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Kylan Foster, Preston Steele, Remington Steele, Caylee Steele, Caleb Steele Jr, and Colbie Steele; siblings, Wayne Steele of Decherd, Kenneth (Lena) Steele of Belvidere, Sherman (Ann) Steele of Belvidere, Phyllis Ann Riddle of Winchester, and Marlin Steele of Winchester; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
