Harold L. Qualls, 79, Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, peacefully at home. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Scotty McCay officiating. Interment will be in Allsboro Methodist Cemetery, Cherokee.
Harold was a loving father, husband, and Paw Paw to his grandchildren. He loved watching old Westerns, Dale Earnhardt, and Alabama football. Harold was a hard worker and held various jobs through the years, but trucking was his passion. He worked at Sims Bark for twenty years, before he retired at the age of 70. Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucy Qualls, and parents, Ledford and Gladys Qualls, of Burnsville, MS.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Maria Terrell (Wayne), Tuscumbia; son, Joel Qualls (Melissa), Iuka, MS; and three grandsons, Ryan Terell, Colton Qualls, and Quentin Qualls.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Woodis, David Woodis, Ryan Terrell, Quentin Qualls, Colton Qualls, and Channing Thompson.
